What the hell are you doing, Cate? And, when are you coming back to reality?
I'm a long-time labor and community organizer who has been traveling steadily for most of the past year.
Despite my best intentions, I haven't touched this blog since a posting I did the day after my niece Jessie Streich-Kest was killed by a falling tree the end of October 2012. Her father, my dear friend Jon Kest, followed in December.
As dramatic and tragic as these losses are, they're part of a series of major life changes that have spurred me to be very clear about what I want and to take advantage of precious time.
